WHP: The Original Fire Training Tower
Proven Durability & Safety With WHP Trainingtowers®
As community settings grow more complex, it's time to think outside the (shipping) box.
Recognizing the need for a sturdier tool for fire crews, WHP Trainingtowers arrived on-scene in 1980 with the world’s first purpose-built training tower.
In the early 2000s, some training officers shifted to converted shipping containers to save a buck, but those "buildings" are risky, easily damaged, pose chemical risks, and a chore to upkeep.
Realizing this, WHP changed the game again by creating the only modular steel training system in the world.
How? It’s simple – we’re born from real firefighting and engineering experience.

Fueled by our commitment to quality, innovation, and expertise, we design and construct training structures to support the first responders who keep our communities safe.

To be a global leader in first responder training, enhancing lasting safety and delivering meaningful improvements in community preparedness. We are dedicated to building a shared legacy with our customers for generations to come.

Why Do Some WHP Training Buildings Look So Different?
Our Alarm Series® fixed towers use a military-grade, proprietary wall cladding system. The setup consists of vertical structural panels with 4.5″ deep corrugations embedded with a series of smaller corrugations. The cladding is structurally bolted together every 6″, creating the strongest steel cladding on the market.
Siding and screws don’t cut it when it comes to repeated physical abuse from laddering and rappelling. Our buildings may look different than the rest, but they also hold up the longest.

One Purpose, One Passion
Our training towers are designed by firefighters and engineers specifically for fire training.
No other company in the world has built as many metal training towers as WHP. We’re not just a supplier of fire training towers. We’re fire training experts. Designing, fabricating, and installing a better solution for your training grounds is what we do.
