Meet Bethany Lybarger – Construction Project Manager

It’s the people at WHP Trainingtowers™ who are truly behind our success. We sat down with Bethany Lybarger, Project Manager, to find out a little more about her job and how she keeps all her plates spinning:

How long have you worked at WHP?
I have been with WHP Trainingtowers™ for four years.

What are you responsible for?
I am responsible for overall project management of every project – from the time it is transferred from Sales through the entire lifecycle of the project.

What do you do on a daily basis?
My daily activities are fairly fluid! I am the main point of contact for our customers as well as any subcontractor who is in the field performing their individual scopes of work. I review contracts, budgets, and quotes for every project. I develop project scopes and schedules in order to deliver projects on time and on budget to meet our customers expectations.

What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy working with the first responder community. Many have worked for years to bring life to their vision of a fire training tower and to help them see it come to fruition is very rewarding.

What makes WHP a great place to work?
Every day is different with new challenges. It’s never boring and the people I work with are great.

How do you help clients?
My goal with every one of our clients is to make them feel that their project is important to WHP and to assure them they will get the end results they expect.

What makes you proud about WHP Trainingtowers™?
The community we serve is a relatively small community and, just in my four years here, I have seen WHP make continual improvements in everything from equipment to processes to customer service. There is an unrelenting dedication to innovation that keeps this company leaps and bounds ahead of anyone else.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I live north of Kansas City in a rural town with my husband and two children. We also have two grown children and a granddaughter. We raise an assortment of animals on our small farm including cows, pigs, chickens, and dairy goats. My off time is spent cheering my kids on in whatever sporting event they are enrolled in as well as traveling every chance I get.
