Meet Jim Belisle, Project Manager:
What is your official title?
I am the Project Manager
What are you responsible for?
Managing all WHP projects from after the initial sale to closeout. Specifically scheduling, contracting, and communications with suppliers, customers, and contractors.
What do you do on a daily basis?
Lots of email! I also do a good amount of detailed processing and planning of future projects. I create task lists, schedules, and follow up on tasks to make sure all of the projects are moving forward smoothly.
What do you like most about your job?
I like that, while it is often hectic, there is open communication among the staff here at WHP and we’re all working to provide a quality product.
What makes WHP a great place to work?
I really enjoy the relaxed but focused work environment.
How do you help clients?
My main job is communication. I provide accurate information to my clients and follow through on commitments.
What makes you proud about WHP Trainingtowers?
WHP is constantly working to provide innovative and fresh solutions for a very niche but important market and has continued to be a market leader for over 40 years. I like that willingness to adapt and look for new solutions.
Tell me a little bit about your life outside of work
I have four kids – three sons soon to be 13, 11, and 9, and a daughter who is almost 7. I love golf and I’m just curious about life and people in general. I recently moved to Grandview so I’m a little closer to some golf courses but I haven’t had time to play, unfortunately! I taught college music for seven years and had my own remodeling company for over seven years. I really enjoy problem solving and digging into the “why” of everything around me and making it better!
