This challenge drove the development of our mobile Hazmat Instructor Series™ training trailer, designed to bring life-saving training directly to those who need it most.
Realistic Training Available Anywhere
The Hazmat Instructor Series™ training trailer is a fully equipped, mobile training unit that can be easily transported to various locations. Built around a custom 8.5′ x 36′ gooseneck trailer, this mobile unit includes everything needed to conduct realistic hazmat training exercises. From simulating smoke, liquid spills, and gas leaks to managing scenarios with falling cylinders and reacting drums, this trailer can create a comprehensive range of possible hazmat situations.
With this trailer, firefighters can train on a variety of hazmat props, including full-size chlorine cylinders, leaking tanks, and compressed gas manifolds. The training scenarios are controlled remotely via a handheld tablet, allowing instructors to adjust and manage the exercises in real time. This ensures that each training session remains unpredictable, challenging, and as close to real-life emergencies as possible.
Custom Training Scenarios Keep Firefighter Training Fresh & Effective
A computerized control system allows instructors to change the exercises each time so the trainees don’t know what to expect. A central control room features two 42” touchscreen control panels, remote camera monitors to observe exe
rcises, and a full sound system specific to props to create the most realistic scenarios. A computerized simulator located in a mechanical control area is capable of integrating sound, smell, visual, and tactile effects, to immerse the trainees in the most realistic experience possible.
