A Variety of Hazmat Training in One Trailer
The training trailer features props from Our Hazmat Instructor Series™. This collection of props is designed to create realistic scenarios by using air compressors to simulate smoke, liquid spills, gas leaks, falling cylinders, exploding drums, and more. These training scenarios allow them to practice on a wide range of emergency hazmat situations from leaking pipes, manifolds, flanges, valves, and seals, to falling cylinders and running spill fires.
Chlorine Cylinder: Full size chlorine cylinder gives the trainee the challenge of controlling leaking valves, pipes, and/or manifolds.
Leaking Drum: Leaking drums are standard UN 1A1 and UN 1A2 drums which leak from a simulated fork lift puncture, bung, or seam leak in lid.
Leaking Bulk Storage: Contain and control flammable liquid leaks from storage container. Leaks from valves, manifold, and tank rupture.
Reacting Drum: Chemical reactions inside a storage drum include bubbling and gurgling sounds and drum vibrations. The bulging head indicates pressure build-up.
Falling Cylinder: Rack failure resulting in an uncontrolled release of product from failed cylinder and manifold. Failure presents responders with “real-life” maneuvering of the situation.
Control Panel: The hand held tablet allows the instructor to manage all operations of the props while overseeing the trainees in action. For personnel safety and training control, the console has emergency stops, pauses, and re-dos.
Remote Control Panel Keeps Training Scenarios Fresh
Our Hazmat Instructor Series™ Training Trailer comes equipped with a control panel. This handheld tablet allows the instructor to manage all operations of the props while overseeing the trainees in action. Instructors can control the scenarios remotely keeping the training fresh and unpredictable. For safety and training control, the console has emergency stops, pauses, and re-dos.

The Hazmat Instructor Series™ Training Trailer comes plumbed and wired for all props (1-ton chlorine cylinder, leaking drum, reacting drum, leaking tank, falling cylinders with rack, sprinkler system, leaking training tree, and smoke machine) and includes our wireless portable control system that controls all of the props in the trailer.
Mobile Hazmat Training
Knowing the importance of fire training, our goal is to bring hazmat training to more firefighters in more departments across the country and the world. We offer a grant-eligible Hazmat Instructor Series™ package that includes five portable hazmat training props and a hand-held control panel. And now we are proud to offer our Hazmat Instructor Series™ training trailer as well. A portable training trailer makes sharing this equipment among departments and districts possible, thus enabling more firefighters to benefit from training. Departments and fire districts can coordinate fire training schedules thereby making it more affordable too. It is GSA-approved and ready for purchase. We can even customize the training trailer with a graphics package and special colors.
